The bodies of two U.S. soldiers reported captured last week have been recovered, and an Iraqi defense ministry official said Tuesday the men were "killed in a barbaric way." The U.S. military said the remains were believed to be those of Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston, and Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker, 25, of Madras, Ore.
Of course, my prayers and thoughts go out to the families of these soldiers. I am always thankful for soldiers such as these who give their lives for us.
I wonder if the human rights groups and the Democrats will condemn the terrorists responsible for the way the soldiers were "killed in a barbaric way." They've been bitching and complaining about "Club Gitmo" and Abu Ghraib so their sensibilities must really be offended by this. See Koscomments:
The bodies of the two captured U.S. soldiers were found in Iraq - bearing signs of "barbaric torture."
How quaint.
Our torture policy brought the chances of our captured troops being tortured in turn from "likely" to "guaranteed". Mark H
If my brother, friend, or wife is tortured by the US for information I won't show a lot of compassion for the American soldiers. This is basic human psychology. Dauphin.
Apparently, not. It's all Bush's fault, we shouldn't be in Iraq and since the US is "torturing terrorists" we got what we deserved.
The terrorists are barbaric and evil. What the terrorists did was horrendous. Yet, there are people who support these evil people. To them, American is evil and barbaric. This people are well and truly sick, sick, sick!
