National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week

Squamous Cell Carcinoma

This week is National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week. It’s a time where laboratory professionals and pathologists highlight their contribution to a patient’s healthcare. We work behind the scenes. Patients rarely see us, but we are entrusted with the tests their primary physician uses to diagnosis any medical condition or to make sure they stay healthy.

I send greetings to those celebrating National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week.

America's health care system is the best in the world, and it is helping millions of citizens live longer and better lives. Our Nation is also making progress toward groundbreaking cures for diseases, and we will continue to pursue medical research that is ambitious, aggressive, and ethical. By working together, we can advance medicine and bring comfort and hope to people around the world.

I appreciate all those who promote excellence and integrity in health care. Your efforts help improve the well-being of our citizens and make our Nation stronger.

Laura and I send our best wishes for a successful event.
