Boy, we had some excitement very close to work today. We heard all the sirens blast through just after 9 AM. With so many going off we'd figure something serious was going on. I got my first look at lunchtime. At that time they had just a few state department vehicles blocking the Health Dept's entrances.
By the time I left work, they had blocked the whole street and it appears that they had a large number of people from hazardous materials present. I came back later tonight to take care of something at work and when I left at 7 PM the road was still closed down. The good
news is that no one seems to be seriously hurt.
