Fall Hike

I took the dogs out hiking today. We went to Lake Fayetteville. It was an absolutely gorgeous day! Most of the trees have lost their leaves. As I walked along I was rustling through leaves. Oooh, the smell too. You know that smell of the forest after the rain. On the lake were ducks and geese. I have to remember to bring the binoculars next time. I saw three herons on the bank, but with two dogs it was hard to get a closer look. I found out that my new dog Casey likes water. I'll be adding water sports to his training.
