Earth Day, Bah Humbug!

No, I didn't celebrate Earth Day. I didn't do anything special nor attended any Kumbaya, touchy-feely observances. I'm not participating in what is becoming a trendy fad. I never did do fads. This guy decided I should celebrate Earth Day. He left me a Loblolly pine tree with instructions to plant it. I don't want a pine tree in my yard, thank you very much. I could use a little more compost for my compost heap. Yep, I tossed that little pine tree in that pile. I couldn't toss in the container the tree was planted in. The Earth Day dude gave me a plastic cup that wasn't degradable. I had to throw that in the trash so it can be tossed in a land fill.
