Legends, Done Like Amateures

Wow, they were bad! Friday night I went to see Legends with Linda Evans and Joan Collins. It was hard to believe that these ladies are famous actresses. What I saw last night was a performance one sees with amateurs. Unless you are absolute die-hard fans of Linda Evans and Joan Collins this is one play not to see unless the price is low. The play itself is a nice little story. It's too bad they casted these two as the major characters. The highlights of the play were the 2 actors who played the maid and the producer. Tonye Patano, who plays Aretha, the maid was absolutely fantastic. She was the highlight of the show. I would love to see more of her. Joe Farrell, playing the producer, was really great too. These two deserved better actresses playing the major characters.
At the end of the play, Linda Evans and Joan Collins got their standing ovation. Not because of their acting, but because of who they are.
